Payment

Preferred method of payment is by bank transfer, though cash and cheque can also be accepted.

Whatever payment method is chosen, please allow enough time for payment to clear, as we will not begin your order until the funds have cleared.

For orders of £30 or under, payment in full is required upfront to confirm your order.

For all orders over £30, a minimum 50% deposit is required to secure the order with the remaining balance to be paid by an agreed date.

This will usually be either 7 days before the delivery/collection date for orders of £100 or under, or 14 days beforehand for orders over £100.

Please note that no order is actually confirmed until payment is received.

Please also note that all deposits are non-refundable (In certain circumstances we may decide to refund some or part of the money in case of cancellation but this decision will be at our discretion).

Delivery

Collection of cakes is generally the norm, however delivery is sometimes available. This will incur an extra charge. This charge will be determined according to the date, time and location of the delivery and will be discussed when you place your order.

Please note that the option of delivery is subject to availability.

We will aim to deliver the goods by the date and time quoted, but delivery times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we will contact you to try and arrange an alternative time.

We will deliver the goods to the address specified for delivery when you order. Please ensure this address is accurate, and that you or your chosen recipient will be available to receive the order. Refunds will not be given if delivery cannot be made. Similarly, we cannot accept liability for any loss or damage once the goods have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions.

Ownership of the goods transfers to you once they have been delivered to either you or your chosen recipient, or once you have collected them and they have left our premises; they are from this point held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or damage.

Prices

All prices listed on this website are intended as a guideline only and are subject to change. As so many of our products are custom creations, prices vary according to individual specifications.

Cancellation

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you do not have the right to cancel orders of made-to-order items, which includes all of our cakes and baked goods. Therefore, if you cancel your order, you will still be charged.

All deposits are non-refundable. If you do need to cancel please give as much notice as possible. At our discretion we may decide to refund some or all of your money, depending on the situation and timescale.

Stand Hire

Stand hire is £10 for 48 hours. An additional deposit will also be required for each stand (the price of this will vary depending on the stand in question; you will be given the details when you are ordering). This deposit is fully refundable upon the safe return to us of the stand. You agree that the cost of replacing the loss of or damage to any stand or part of a stand will be charged to you, and taken from the deposit.

To help minimise any potential damage, we will accept the return of our stands unwashed.

Please note that unless otherwise agreed, it is your responsibility to return the stand to us by an agreed date and time.
